As ever the safety of us all is our paramount concern. As such we’ve introduced some guidelines for viewing property in our new world…..
If any member of either the household being viewed, or the household undertaking a viewing is showing symptoms of Coronavirus or is self-isolating, then a physical viewing should be delayed – please don’t be offended if we ask the question regarding your current health
Sellers
- If your property is being viewed, you should open all the internal doors and windows wherever possible prior to the viewing. Ensure surfaces such as door handles are cleaned, preferably with anti-bacterial cleaner, and repeat this process after the viewing.
- Occupied Property / We encourage that you vacate your property whilst viewings are taking place in order to minimize your contact with those not in your household. If this is not possible ensure then social distancing must be practiced. We strongly advocate the use of PPE
- Empty Property / We attend as arranged and will allow buyers access to view while we maintain a safe distance or even stay outside the property.
Buyers
- We encourage people to do their property searching online wherever possible, and physical viewings should only be conducted where buyers are seriously considering making an offer on a property.
- When viewing a property, all parties should wash their hands and avoid touching surfaces where possible. We ask you to restrict the number of people who accompany you on a viewing – a maximum of TWO ADULTS, and only those in your immediate household should attend the viewing.
