Whilst here at McDonalds we can understand why some people may be tempted by the Purplebricks 'deal', (there, we said it!)… but for most, we confidently feel it just doesn’t stack up against a fully supported service from an experienced local agent with a team of locally based staff all working together on the clients behalf. Therefore we feel the Purplebricks model is flawed at a basic level. It simply isn’t enough for most sellers to just upload their property to Rightmove and expect a sale. This morning’s industry press would seem to support our view with Purplebricks issuing a profit warning. No surprise to the industry, but the wider public audience will likely now be a little more wary before committing to a fee of at least £849 (locally) whether they sell or not!
